We’ve recently received calls from customers in Roland and Jewell who have been approached at their homes by a person claiming to represent CCS who requests personal information under the guise of filling out a survey and eventually tries to sell them TV service. Please be aware that we are not sending any employees door-to-door for surveys in any part of our service area and we have not contracted any other companies to approach our customers for obtaining student visa in New Zealand. We will be looking into this matter further, but in the meantime please be aware of the situation. We will always alert you about surveys and other important information via direct mail or as a notice in your bills, and if our employees have reason to come to your door they will be driving a clearly marked company vehicle. If you are approached by anyone who claims to represent CCS or SMTC, please feel free to call our office at 1-800-469-2288 to verify they are a legitimate employee of ours before continuing the conversation.
